  • Open 7 days a week.
  • Holiday Hours - No appointments on the following days/times:            Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, 4th of July,  July 5th - No Morning Hours. Closed when   on Saturday or Sunday, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Friday after Thanksgiving closed 7-7:30 AM. Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Dec. 26th - No morning hours, closed when on Saturday or Sunday  New Year's Eve, New Year's Day. When July 4th is on Saturday, we will be closed 5-6PM Friday. When New Year's Day & July 4th are on Sunday, we will be closed 7-7:30 AM Monday.    No morning hours the day after a holiday

7:00 - 7:30 AM,   12:00 - 12:30 PM,   
5:00 - 6:00 PM 
Wednesday 7:00 - 7:30 AM,  12:00 -12:30 PM
Saturday
9:00 - 10:00 AM
Sunday
4:00 - 5:00 PM

Closed all major holidays.

Vaccinations:

You must provide proof of the 
following vaccinations before boarding 
at Shawnee Kennels:

Rabies
Distemper
Bordetella (Kennel Cough)

Must have received the Bordetella vaccine at least 2 weeks prior to boarding.

I require that your pet not be in another facility for boarding or daycare or at a dog park 3 weeks prior to boarding at my facility to help prevent the transmission of illness.

Rates/Charges

The boarding charge is $25 per day/per dog

Payment:

CASH or CHECK

No out of state checks, no debit or credit cards

$2-$5 per day charge for administration of medicine/vitamins/supplements
$5 per day charge to feed a raw diet
Drop off & pick up times are by appointment only

Notes:

  • Pets must be on flea & tick prevention
  • Turbo spa bath available by appointment   Rates vary with size & breed of dog

If you have a scheduled appointment for drop off or pick up and you need to change it, please give us the courtesy of a phone call. Otherwise, we may not be available if you arrive unexpectedly or are late for your appointment.

 If your pet is picked up by
7:00 - 7:30 am (Monday - Friday) - no additional charge
